Actress, director, producer. Born on September 2, 1966. Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. Raised in the Catholic house plans, Hayek is the daughter of a Spanish mother and Lebanese father. He attended the convent school in Louisiana 12 years old and lives with her aunt in Houston, Texas, in his teens. After a short stint at university in Mexico City, he is pursuing an acting career, eventually becoming a soap star in her native Mexico.
In 1991, an ambitious Hayek moved to Los Angeles, decided to improve her English and a Hollywood actress. After small gigs, he landed a role opposite Antonio Banderas in 1995, he was a desperado. The success of his film garnered relatively obscure films, including the teen thriller The Faculty, 1999 - The Wild Wild West and 1997's Fools Rush In. Consequently, Hayek became engaged with small, independent pictures, and started his own production company, Ventanarosa Ventanarosa.
